Foodie Friday: Christmas Monkey Bread


This is an all-time favorite of mine. I have made it year-after-year for Christmas and it never fails to be delicious. Such an ooey-gooey cinnamon treat!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans of cinnamon rolls
  • 1 cup of butter– 3/4th melted, 1/4 cubed
  • 1/2 cup cinnamon sugar
  • 2 handfuls of pecans, chopped

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat a bundt pan (or any sort of pan for that matter– see picture for NON-bundt pan version). Place 1/4 cup of cubed butter, pecans, and a good sprinkle of cinnamon sugar in the bottom of the pan. Separate cinnamon rolls, cut into  quarters, and roll into a ball. Coat in butter then drop in cinnamon sugar. Place coated ball into pan. Once you have done this with all the cinnamon roll balls, place pan in oven and cook for 30 to 35 minutes or until not gooey in the center. Best enjoyed warm but certainly delish anytime!
